Fenwick & West, 801 California St.,
Mountain View, CA U.S.A.

Since Eric Drexler's groundbreaking book Engines of Creation 20 years ago, scientists have been working to translate the idea of engineering at the molecular level into products that can transform nearly every aspect of our lives. Our understanding has, in the last few years, reached the point where entrepreneurs can build exciting new companies and bring them to market. Anthony Waitz of Quantum Insight and a special guest will give us a brief introduction to nanotechnology and a view into the work being done today, focusing on the technical and business challenges facing pioneering companies developing productive nanosystems, a nanotechnology for molecular manufacturing.
