Ted Hollifield, Co-Head of Alston & Bird’s Venture Capital and M&A Practice will lead a panel of entrepreneurs who’ve successfully sold their startups through a discussion of how to manage a successful sale process. Entrepreneurs will share their perspectives on best practices for identifying potential acquirers, negotiating the potential transaction and then working with lawyers, accountants, tax advisers and others to get the transaction done. Additional topics include the effective use of an investment banker/financial adviser, how to negotiate employment arrangements that make sense post-deal and ensuring a positive outcome for investors, employees, shareholders and founders.

Daniel Graf is currently working as a Product Guy. Previously he was with Google Maps and in an entrepreneurial role at Google’s Mobile Apps Lab.

Daniel was formerly CEO of Kyte, a leading video platform which was acquired by IP Video leader KIT Digital in 2011. He was instrumental as Chief Software Engineer in the build-up of ReQuest Multimedia, where he created the world’s first MP3 Hard Disk Jukebox, predecessor to Apple’s “iPod”. It took the team 11 months from product idea to market. ReQuest Multimedia is running a successful business to this day.

Dave Sobota is currently Director, Corporate Development at Google. Formerly an associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Dave is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School (JD, Law) and Georgetown University (BSBA, Business).
