Everything from multimillion dollar ransoms demanded for the release of public and private infrastructure to the theft and use of the personal details of pretty much everyone on earth. Should we be alarmed? How can we best protect ourselves and our companies? How do we know if we are a victim? How should we respond to threats? Will we ever sleep peacefully again?

Direct from Israel, come hear a panel of experts discuss these and other important and timely cybersecurity questions in a free virtual event.

Ron Liberman, Co-Founder & VP R & D at Authomize

Prior to Authomize, Ron served as the Head of the Cybersecurity R&D Section in the Israel Defense Force’s elite cyber Unit 8200. Ron is a graduate of the “Talpiot” prodigy program and received the IDF’s Chief of Staff Excellence Award.

Lior Carmel, Investment Team at Blumberg Capital

Lior is an associate at Blumberg Capital, based in Tel Aviv. Lior connects with entrepreneurs, researches potential investments, supports portfolio companies, and develops emerging investment roadmaps.

Prior to joining Blumberg Capital, Lior was a technology scouter and innovation consultant at Deloitte, where he led Deloitte Israel’s engagements with the Israeli cybersecurity ecosystem and facilitated collaborations between startups and multinational companies. Lior began his career in Unit 8200 of the Israeli Intelligence Corps, where he served as an officer for six years and fulfilled multiple roles of product and project management in cybersecurity, big data, and telecommunication, for which he was awarded with excellence and creativity awards.

Uri May, CEO and Co-Founder, Hunters AI

Uri is a tech business expert. Prior to Hunters AI, Uri was the Co-Founder and CTO of Maximize (now “Solidus”), a High-Frequency Trading firm. As Co-Founder and CTO of Maximize, he was responsible for all technology, including algorithm design and building hardware acceleration platforms, as well as directing business development efforts. Uri is a veteran of Unit 8200 of the Israeli Intelligence Corps, where he served as an outstanding officer in a variety of capacities, ranging from security researcher and software developer, to leading the development of one of the Unit’s core cyber infrastructures.
